Nigerian Agencies Shortlisted for Cristal Awards

Nigerian creative agencies have been shortlisted 16 times in five categories at this year African Cristal festival ongoing in Marrakesh, Morocco.
 
African Cristal Festival rewards the best advertising campaigns created and broadcast on various media on the African continent. Many agencies have submitted entries to the international & regional panel of leading creatives in order to win Cristals. This year again, entries submitted are also competing in the Regional Awards, rewarding the best creations in seven regions or countries on the African continent.
 
In Promo&Brand Cristal, X3M Ideas Communication’s work, O-GAS Switch, which the agency did for OANDO Plc was shortlisted along with The Super Recharge it did for Etisalat Nigeria.
 
Under Press Cristal, Nigeria has a total of seven shortlisted agencies for tonight awards. These include:  30 Days Fitness Challenge (SMOOTHIE) by Noah’s Ark Communications Limited for FrieslandCapina Wamco as well as its work on 30 Days Fitness Challenge (TEA) for Three Crown Milk (FrieslandCampina Wamco).
 
Also, X3M Ideas registered another work on the list. This is Etisalat EasyCliq Break Free for Etisalat Nigeria.
 
DDB Lagos also has save A Child, a campaign for Bill and Malinda Gate. Also on the list is Infinix Zero Series by DDB Lagos for Infinix.
 
Noah’s Ark has two other works, this time, Mrs. Ekene and Mrs. Badmus for Hypo Bleach from the stable of Toleram.
 
Integrated Cristal has 30 Days Fitness Challenge (Smoothie&Tea) by Noah’s Ark for Three Crown (FCW). Not only this, Data is Life by Lanre Adisa-led Noah’s Ark for Airtel Nigeria was also shortlisted.
In the mobile Cristal, two works from Nigerian agencies were shortlisted. These are, DStv Life Your Dream done by X3M Ideas for Multichoice Nigeria, while No Paradise by Noah’s Ark done for The Young Bookworms was also shortlisted.
 
Three agencies from Nigeria were also shortlisted in Radio Cristal. Inner Potential by Noah’s Ark for Heritage Bank and Young Luv Booty also by Noah’s Ark which got shortlisted twice for Airtel Nigeria were also on the list.
 
Meanwhile, all the agencies will know their fate at today’s gala night to celebrate creativity in African advertising industry.
 
It will be recalled that, for the past two days participants have been meeting with decision-makers who will help to sharpen their knowledge of the African market while participating in the conferences and debates animated by experts of the industry.
 
The 2017 edition of the African Cristal Festival will help attendees grasp the creative and multi-cultural future in line with this emerging market.
