The pair of Noah’s Ark’s Bolaji Alausa – Executive Creative Director; Maurice Ugwonoh-Creative Director and 360 Integrated’s Executive Director, Nduka Henry Kade have made it to the preliminary jury of AD STARS international advertising awards.

The trio from West Africa will join other members of the preliminary jury across the world in Busan, Korea from the 23rd-25th of August 2018 in an event themed, “Connect”.

This will not be Alausa’s first duty as a jury member at the global stage as he has acted similarly at other internationally acclaimed advertising festivals. He is the first Nigerian to be awarded two Cannes National Diplomas in 2013 and also ranks as the 12th most published Creative Director in the world according to Lurzer’s Archive.

He has won several national awards with Noah’s Ark, notably a Grand Prix at the 2015 and 2017 LAIF (Lagos Advertising & Ideas Festival). At the regional and international levels, he also won with the agency, two Emeralds in 2015, then three Emeralds and two Golds at the 2016 African Cristal Festival in Morocco. His Airtel data campaign titled ‘Lost’, won Gold at the Epica awards in Berlin late 2017.

His colleague, Maurice is an accomplished Creative Director with a professional certificate from the Chartered Institute Of Marketing, Certificates in Consumer Behaviour and Marketing Communications from Edinburgh Business School, UK. Maurice brings 13 years of experience spanning LTC- JWT Lagos, Rosabel-Leo-Burnett Lagos, FKG2, FCB-Impact, DDB Lagos and finally Noah’s Ark where he worked on some of Africa’s apex brands like Cadbury, P&G & Unilever, Glo, MTN, Airtel, Nokia, and more.

Known by many as ‘The Duke’, Nduka Kade is an eclectic character with a variety of talents across the media/arts landscape. As a seasoned creative, he has directed various successful advertising campaigns over the last 15 years in Nigeria for brands such as Shell Nigeria, Multilinks, Dettol, Guinness, ExxonMobil, Unilever, Star Lager, Kanekalon, Keystone Bank and Spectranet broadband among others.

AD STARS is an international advertising award show based in Busan, Korea. Since its establishment in 2008, AD STARS has been working towards servicing its objective of promoting and encouraging creative ideas and advertising through the annual event. With its ten-year history, it holds unparalleled international recognition.
