Efosa Aiyevbomwan Joins Universal Music Group As PR And Communications Manager
Former Public Relations Manager, DStv Nigeria, Efosa Aiyevbomwan, has joined Universal Music Group (UMG) as PR and Communications Manager (Nigeria/West Africa).
He is expected to lead the Public Relations and Communications drive for Universal Music Group in Nigeria and West Africa. He is also expected to manage the communication for the group’s subsidiaries: UMGB (a creative agency), ULive (a live events & production company), UMG Live (talent bookings and management), and Bravado (a 360 full service merchandise company).
Aiyevbomwan started his career as a Public Relations Officer at Hues and Horizons Events Management where he coordinated various internal and external communication strategies for the firm and facilitated the administration of various client accounts between June 2008 and February 2010.
In June 2011, he joined Nigerian Bottling Company Ltd (A member of the Coca-Cola Hellenic group) as a Post Graduate Intern, Public Affairs and Communications Department and left for Sesema Public Relations in February 2012 as Public Relations Consultant/Senior Account Executive.
In May 2013, he was appointed the Account Manager at Sesema Public Relations before leaving the organization to join MultiChoice’s M-Net West Africa/Africa Magic in July 2014. Meanwhile, in September 2017, he became the Public Relations Manager, MultiChoice’s DStv Nigeria where he managed PR for the overall DStv platform as viewed and experienced in Nigeria before moving to UMG.
Aiyevbomwan bagged B.A English from University of Lagos from 2002 to 2006 and MSc, Media and Communication from School of Media and Communication, Pan-Atlantic University from 2010 to 2011.
