The Outdoor Advertising Association of Nigeria (OAAN) is set to host its 33rd Annual General Meeting (AGM) from Thursday, July 26 to Saturday, July 28, 2018.
The event with the theme “Global OOH Best Practice and the Nigerian Situation” will hold at the Owu Crown Hotel in Ibadan, Oyo State. The AGM specifically holds Friday, 27th July, 2018 at 10am.
Speaking exclusively to Brand Communicator, the President of the association, Tunde Adedoyin, disclosed that preparations are in top gear to make the event memorable.
“We are going to have lectures that will be delivered by Otunba Seni Adetu, former Managing Director of Guinness Plc and other speakers. We will also visit commissioner of Information in Oyo State. There is also a novelty match and on Friday members will have the AGM proper where we will meet minds on the happenings in the industry,” he disclosed.
Apart from the AGM Business Session, various activities that would get the members to relax, network and justify their break from their usual business pursuits include: Visit to some government functionaries, excursion to places of interest in Ibadan, sporting activities like a novelty match, track events and the Gala Nite.
Members of the association are looking forward to this gathering as there are many issues to be discussed especially, the ones that border on their business operations.
Some government functionaries including the Outdoor Advertising Regulatory Agencies and industry representatives have been confirmed to attend.
Recall, last year, the association held its AGM at Hotel Benezia, Asaba, Delta State. Adedoyin, who stirred the wheels of the association as President for two years was unanimously returned unopposed, likewise some other member of the executive.
