Media Fuse Dentsu Aegis Network has elevated Igwe Okeke to the position of Managing Director for Carat Nigeria, one of its agencies.
Igwe began his professional journey at Carat Nigeria in 2008 as a Media Manager, a position he held for four years before he was elevated to the position of Senior Media Manager. In 2014, he rose to the position of Associate Media Director of the Dentsu Aegis Media Fuse Network before his current appointment.
He started his career as a Graduate Assistant Lecturer at the Department of mass communication, University of Maiduguri in 2005. He has worked as Zonal Marketing Manager for Markfema Nigeria Limited, a Health Maintenance Organisation and was responsible for the establishment of the north east zonal offices of the company.
In 2006, he became Deputy Manager for Content Development with DM Audio-Visuals where he co-scripted and managed “Friend or Foe” – a TV reality show.
Igwe has a BA Honours Degree in Communication from the University of Nigeria Nsukka. He is also an alumnus of the Lagos Business School. He is also an associate member of the Advertising Practitioners Council of Nigeria.
