More Worries For Competitors As Hayat Kimya Introduces Molped, Molfix Pants
Barely three years after its flagship brand, Molfix, entered the Nigerian market, toppled well established competitors to occupy the number one position with 50% of the diaper market share today and swept its primary consumers off their feet, Hayat Kimya Nigeria has entered the sanitary pad market with the introduction of the Molped Sanitary pad.
The launch of the Molped sanitary pad was also done alongside the introduction of the company’s flagship’s new SKU, Molfix Pants, at the prestigious Eko Hotels & Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos recently. Molped, which is in its ultra soft and maxi thick variants, according to Hayat Kimya Nigeria MD, Hakan Misri, comes with a lot of advantages over existing rival products in the market.
According to the Marketing Director of Hayat Kimya, Roseline Abaraonye, the new sanitary pad fulfils desires of the Nigerian woman in all areas she has found existing pads in the market wanting, especially itchiness, heat, irritation and leakage. Hayat Kimya therefore came up with the new ‘skin friendly cotton soft pads’ for ladies who prefer ultra-sanitary pads and Molped Maxi Thick with side wings for ladies who prefer thick pads.
“Molped Ultra Soft Sanitary pad is crafted with comfort and is equipped with soft wings, double perforated top-sheet, acquisition layer, absorbent layer and breathable back sheet, while the Maxi Thick Sanitary pad absorbs 3x its weight, has side wings that ensure that it fits perfectly and above all, is nylon-free,” she said. ff
