Promasidor Unveils Cowbell Chocolate ‘Get Up N Goal’ Promo

Promasidor, as part of effort to reward its loyal consumers has launched a new campaign for its chocolate drink brand, Cowbell Chocolate tagged “Get Up N Goal” promotion.

The promotion was unveiled yesterday, Monday June 10, 2019 at a media parley held at its head office in Lagos. 

Anders Einarsson, Managing Director, Promasidor Nigeria said the promotion is aimed at rewarding its consumers during this football season. “We are using this media parley to call on all our consumers; mothers and kids to join Cowbell Chocolate in this promotion tagged COWBELL CHOCOLATE “GET UP N GOAL”.

 “How does it work?, It is a consumer promotion therefore, participants are to collect nine (9) 20g sachets of the Cowbell Chocolate Supa Strikas themed packaging, each having a unique character, submit them at any of our one hundred and ninety (190)  redemption centres across the country and stand a chance to win any of the amazing prizes on offer.

“Prizes to be won include the latest Sony Play Station 4 console system along with a virtual reality headset, Supa Strikas Jerseys, Soccer boots, Footballs and many other consolation items.”

Alternatively, he said “Also, participants who are not able to submit nine (9) unique characters can redeem as many empty sachets of Supa Strika themed Cowbell Chocolate 20g promotional pack with 5 unique supa Strikas characters to get one (1) filled Cowbell 20g sachet free. This will ensure that every participant in the promotion stand a chance of winning a prize including free product packs.

“The Cowbell Chocolate GET UP N GOAL Promotion is from today Monday June 10, 2019 to Friday September 13, 2019.” he explained.

The initiative is a partnership between Promasidor and Supa Strikas. Supa Strikas is a football themed comic and cartoon TV series that enjoys large following among kids and young adults across Nigeria.

Speaking on the partnership, Einarsson said “Cowbell Chocolate entered into a relationship with Supa Strikas in 2017 that gives the brand exclusive rights to the Supa Strika franchise- the comic book and the cartoon TV series in Nigeria. Cowbell Chocolate has on this relationship leveraged its assets in various forms of marketing exercises.”

On plans to ensure that consumers redeem their prizes at ease, Abiodun Ayodeji, Head of Marketing, Promasidor stated that they would be dedicated personnel who would attend to consumers at the redemption points across the country. Adding, “Our communication materials especially handbills, will carry details of our redemption centres and it will also be shared online and on our social media handles.”

Furthermore, he said “the promotion will be highly publicised on radio and television stations across the country for adequate participation, likewise some of the winners across the country will be showcased on our social media handles for all our consumers to see.”

Recall, Cowbell Chocolate was launched into the Nigerian market in August 2000 and was relaunched in the year 2015 in a new exciting packaging and with a new formulation that contains Vitarich plus Iron, a proprietary blend of 28 Vitamins and minerals that enables consumers especially the children to be active and productive all day.

It is interesting to note that Promasidor is also known for development initiative for students known as Cowbellpedia Secondary Schools mathematics TV quiz show among others.
