Head of Public Relations for Kwesé TV, a pay TV under the Econet Media Company, Efe Obiomah has resigned her services for the pay TV company effective June.
While with the company, Obiomah was largely responsible for translating the overall Econet Media external communications strategy into a comprehensive implementation plan for the launch of Kwesé Pay-TV, Kwese Free Sports, and Kwese Play in Nigeria. She also managed the internal and external communication function of the company at a strategic level.
Having joined the company earlier in 2017, she was also responsible for maintaining media relationships and managing local PR agency for the company as well as stakeholder relations, crises and issues management.
A marketing communications professional with over 17 years’ experience garnered in marketing, telecommunications and broadcast media companies, Obioma has worked in Multichoice Nigeria as the Public Relations Manager for GOTv for close to four years and Etisalat (now 9Mobile) for over five years as a specialist, public relations.
She has also had experience working at the agency side, having worked as a finance executive and an account manager at Tequila Nigeria, a foremost experiential company in Nigeria.
She is an alumna of the University of Benin where she bagged a B.Sc in Mathematics and Economics in 1999 and also an alumna of Simon Page Academy where she studied Marketing Communication in 2012.
