Nigerian Delegates, Others Square Up For Battle Royale At Loeries

Nigerian delegates from different agencies in the creative advertising space have joined their peers as well as other stakeholders in the IMC industry from across Africa and the Middle East in Durban Durban, South Africa, venue of this year’s Loeries Creative Week that started on the 19th and will run through to the 25th of this month.

They will join in slugging it out in a battle royale against the bests of the continent and beyond as they go head to head in claiming bragging rights for the best in churning out creativity and innovation that resonates with their peers as well as help their clients’ brands win in the market place.

Some Nigerian agencies that have registered their presence at the Loeries 2019 include Noah’s Ark Communications, TBWA and Up In The Sky.

In a related Development, Nigeria’s frontline all-glossy top of the shelf, most consistent and most prestigious brands, marketing and advertising journal, Brand Communicator is poised to bring you blow by blow account of proceedings at the continent’s most prestigious creative awards showcase.  This is as a strong delegation led by its Publisher, Joshua Ajayi and Correspondent, Jeremiah Agada are already at Durban to cover the event.

So far, the judging of works that began two days back has today come to an end as the judges have worked assiduously to ensure that only the best of works claims bragging rights come Thursday and Friday. This is gathered from one of the judges who is also part of the Nigerian delegation to this year’s Loeries, Up In The Sky’s Managing Director, Oje Ojeaga. Also according to him, the judging process has been very thorough, meticulous and meets the very best of global standards. Recall Ojeaga and his colleague, Idiare Atimomo, at Cannes this year delivered a workshop titled ‘From Crap Script to Crazy Film.’
