One of Nigeria’s foremost media independence agencies, Starcom Media Perspectives has appointed Muyiwa Aleshinloye as its Head, Digital Media.

In his new capacity, Muyiwa is expected to grow the digital portfolio of the agency. Prior joining the agency, he was at a creative advertising agency, Nitro 121 where he had the full responsibility for growing the digital and experiential business unit, with focus on the intersection of strategy, brand management, innovation & technology, product development, and experiential marketing.

He also led brand portfolio of international and local giants including British American Tobacco (BAT), British Council, FBN Insurance, Frutta, & GOtv through strategy, account management, media planning, media mix optimization and budgetary control of all digital (and experiential) marketing activities, as well as championed a new culture of innovation and digital transformation within the agency that integrates the values and vision of the company.

Muyiwa began his career as a Marketing Executive at Skyteam Gas in 2011. He went on to become a Business Development Manager at MF Intrade Company. In 2015, he became the Head, Experiential Marketing of MediaVision Limited. From there, he left to join Worldbay Technologies as a Business Development Executive before going to Ringier Nigeria.

He is an alumnus of the University of Illorin where he obtained a B.Sc. in Biochemistry and also an alumnus of the University of Lagos where he obtained a M.Sc. in the same course.
