It will be recalled that executives of MIPAN promised to be more active and engaging in 2016 than in previous years by organizing programmes that will empower members and enhance their human capacity.
MIPAN was registered in 1999 by seven agencies with an agenda to develop and improve the media advertising function in Nigeria by paying close attention to the discipline with a view to offering quantifiable value to the industry. The establishment of the body was also aimed at encouraging the entrenchment of merit based reward systems in the media advertising function in order to ensure continuous improvement. As well as facilitate the development of an enabling environment for the media advertising industry in Nigeria.
In January, MIPAN officially increased in number by accepting three new agencies into its fold. The inducted agencies are SBI Media, Mec Global Media Limited and FCB Brand Resources.
