TVC, InfoWARE To Launch Business Zone, Business Nigeria

In its effort to further improve its coverage across the country, Nigeria’s leading broadcasting brand, Television Continental, TVC,  on Thursday  in Lagos entered into a strategic partnership with InfoWARIE, a business software and technology company to launch two programmes, Business Zone and Business Nigeria which are currently running on the broadcast station.
This partnership will deepen TVC’s media coverage of the business environment across the country and other African markets.
According to the broadcasting company, the partnership will enable TVC be the first to broadcast live market data with an extensive coverage of National Association of Securities Dealers (NASD), the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE), Alternative Securities Market (ASeM) and other African Markets.
Speaking on the partnership, Lindsey Oliver, TVC’s Interim CEO,  said TVC will now use InfoWARE Market Data Terminal (IMDT) to broadcast live market data on TVC News and TVC News Nigeria and will feature real time market data for commodities such as Gold, Crude oil and others.
She siad that the deal is a testament of TVC’s commitment to broadening and improve its reach by provide the best in terms of business reports on stock market, finance and investment across the Nigerian and the African business markets.
According to her, ‘‘This partnership with InfoWARE Limited will afford our viewers the best in terms of business analysis and reports across all markets within Nigeria and Africa. It will provide up to five years price analysis, in depth Naira evaluation against International and other African currencies, visually appealing graphs and charts fit for TV presentation, comparison among different stock performances, in-built instant messaging/chat tool for seamless communication with colleagues and other professionals.’’
Similarly, Uwa Agbonile, InfoWARE CEO, added that the partnership will further promote transparency, price discovery and integrity of Nigeria’s Capital Market via two business programmes on the broadcast station.
