Godfrey Adejumoh, erstwhile External Communications Officer, MTN Nigeria has moved to Unilever Nigeria Plc as Corporate Communications Manager.

Until his appointment, Adejumoh was in charge of media management and played a critical role in the ideation and strategy deployment of MTN’s communications campaigns.
With about 10 years’ experience in PR, Adejumoh has honed his skills, contributing to the reputational management of multinationals like Dupont, Reckit Benekiser, LG Electronics, Accenture, Vestergaard Frandsen and DHL while working on the agency side.
Godfrey started his PR sojourn on the agency side in PR Distinction Limited and later worked in MarketingMix, SilverBullet PR and Chain Reactions Nigeria, before joining MTN Nigeria in 2013 and now Unilever Nigeria.
Known to be a passionate young professional, Godfrey, who is very strong on strategic communications and ideas with proven skills in managing stakeholders in the line of duty, will find his new job a perfect fit, in line with his love of continuous learning and improvement in his career trajectory. He is expected to bring his wealth of experience to drive internal and external communications activities for the Unilever business.
As an avid writer, Adejumoh consistently contributes to the development of the public relations industry through thought leadership write-ups on issues that enhance knowledge sharing and discourse. Some of his write-ups include Driving Effective Stakeholder Management in Public Relations and Government’s spokesperson: The battle between Journalism and PR Practice.
He holds a Master’s degree in Public and International Affairs from the University of Lagos and a Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy from the University of Benin.
