Brand Communicator magazine, Nigeria’s foremost Brand and Marketing journal has been nominated along side, Channels TV and Guardian Newspaper for this year’s edition of Sustainability Enterprise and Responsibility Awards (SERAs Awards) for thorough reportage on Corporate Social Responsibility in Nigeria.

 

The SERAs awards ceremony is Africa’s foremost CSR Watchdog and Sustainability monitoring organization which enters its 11th edition this year.

 

Awesome Communications, Publishers of Brand Communicator was also nominated for the Best Small and Medium Company of the Year category at the 10th edition in 2016 while, Brand Communicator’s reporter, Agada Jeremiah was nominated for award for CSR Reporting.

 

This year’s nomination for SERAs award is in recognition of the magazine’s efforts in beaming its searchlight on the Corporate Social Responsibility in Nigeria. It also confirmed the leadership position of the magazine in its reportorial duty and it contributions to journalism profession in the country.

 

The 2017 SERAs nominees for this year’s award were selected for their various initiative’s and sustainable partnerships created to foster community development, while measuring the impact on specific segments, including gender, economic empowerment, and education.

 

This year’s nominees feature an impressive array of Global brands, organic African organizations, West African, and Nigeria institutions. They include, Brand Communicator First Bank, Nigerian Breweries, GT Bank, Chevron, Zenith Bank, Airtel, FCMB, Multichoice, iSON, Fidelity Bank, 9 Mobile, Sahara Energy, iSON, Shell Petroleum and Sterling Bank.

 

The award ceremony is scheduled for November 17 at Muson Centre, Lagos.
