BrandCrunch Nigeria Selected for LaPRIGA Award
BrandCrunch Nigeria, Nigeria’s premier marketing news portal has been selected for the coveted LaPRIGA PR Magazine (Online) of the Year Award by the Lagos chapter of the Nigeria Institute of Public Relations.
A letter tagged: “PR Magazine of the Year (Online) BrandCrunch” issued on behalf of the association and signed by the Chairman and General Secretary, Olusegun McMedal and Thelma Okoh respectively, and made available to the management of the BrandCrunch on last Friday reads in part:
“On behalf of the Executive Council of Lagos NIPR, we are very pleased to announce that BrandCrunch Nigeria has been awarded the coveted LaPRIGA PR Magazine of the Year Award (Online) award”. According to the letter, the award is the highest recognition of excellence in journalism.
The letter continues, “We acknowledge your blog’s commitment to upholding the highest professional standard in publishing and journalism that informs, entertains and educates engaging minds, building relationships, transforming marketing decisions and impacting the future.”
BrandCrunch is scheduled to be presented with the award plague at the prestigious LaPRIGA dinner slated for The Civic Centre, Victoria Island, Lagos on Thursday, December 21, 2017 by 6 p.m.
Inaugurated last year, the LaPRIGA award is poised to be the premier showcase that recognizes excellence in public relations practice in the Nigerian communications industry, celebrating practitioners and corporate winning projects via awards dinner to boost professionalism and more investment in the practice.
The thematic focus for the second edition of the LaPRIGA: “Celebration of Success”, aims at drawing attention to the contributions of public relations profession to the socio-economic development of the country and to celebrate the people that make it happen.
Winners for the first edition include Chevron, Promasidor, MTN, First Bank, Airtel and Dufil Foods and two senior practitioners who were awarded the prestigious Lifetime Achievement Awards.
