Manning Gottlieb OMD continues to hold the account in the UK, which is thought to be one of ELC’s biggest markets in Europe.

ID Comms managed the review.

ELC was a founding client of M2M in the UK in 2003 but moved its account to sister shop Manning Gottlieb OMD in 2016 – a move that led to Omnicom shutting M2M.

The beauty group spends $2.7bn (£1.93bn) annually on “advertising, merchandising, sampling, promotion and product development”.

ELC did not immediately comment, while Dentsu Aegis Network and Omnicom each declined to comment.
