Durban Agog For 2018 Loeries Creative Week

All is set for 2018 Loeries Creative Week as advertising and brand communication professionals have been arriving Durban, South Africa for the reward and celebration of creativity in Africa and The Middle East.
Some of Nigerian Agencies have also arrived Durban amidst hope of good performance at this year’s Loreries Awards.
Meanwhile, the judging process has commenced to determine who wins each category of the awards.
The Loeries has been rewarding creativity for 40 years and this year’s edition promises to live up to expectation.
The Loeries is Africa and the Middle East’s premier award that recognises, rewards, inspires and fosters creative excellence in the advertising and brand communication industry, winning a Loerie is the highest accolade for creativity and innovation across our region.
The Loeries, a proudly not-for-profit company, promotes and supports creativity by helping marketers, agencies and consumers appreciate the value of fresh thinking, innovative ideas and outstanding execution.
Culminating in the biggest creative gathering in the region, Loeries Creative Week brings together the best innovative minds from the industry for a festival that offers networking, creative inspiration and the recognition of great work.
The creative economy across Africa and the Middle East is world-class and has great potential to offer employment to talented youth, and the Loeries places a significant emphasis on education and development. As such the Loeries contributes to development within our industry by investing into programmes such as the creative industry’s richest bursary, the Creative Future Scholarship.
Other initiatives and activities for this year Loeries include the Loeries Travelling Exhibition, the Official Rankings, Migrate magazine and Loeries Creative Week; which hosts Judging Week, the DStv Seminar of Creativity, MasterClasses and the highly acclaimed Loeries Award Shows.
