Charles Imuzeze Bows Out Of Verdant Zeal Group

Charles Imuzeze, Managing Director of Great Measures Media, a subsidiary of Verdant Zeal Group has exited the services of the media-advertising agency after a decade of offering his expertise. His resignation will take effect on 20th December 2018.

He intends to pursue his passion elsewhere having achieved remarkable track record in developing and directing strategic marketing and brand communications initiatives in dynamic environments for almost two decades.

Recall, he joined the agency as Executive Director/Chief Operating Officer in 2008 where he was involved in delivering cost effective media strategy, planning and buying before becoming the Managing Director.

Acknowledging the receipt of his resignation letter in a statement released by Abimbola Ogunleye, Head, Human Resource and Admin for the Verdant Zeal Group, he said, “Management earlier on received a notice from ‘ Charles Imuzeze ‘of his intent to pursue his passion elsewhere.

“Charles, joined us in 2008 and later became the Managing Director of Great Measures Media where he contributed his quota towards the success of brands like VLISCO, Emirates, Interswitch, Verve, Quickteller, Society for Family Health, Reckitt Benckiser & Daarsat amongst many others…the list is endless.

“And since we encourage everyone to pursue and develop the spirit of enterprise, we had no choice than to accept his notice of resignation; with his last day at work being Friday the 20th of December 2018.”

Before joining the agency, Imuzeze had also worked in Peapco Mediashop, LTC Advertising, and Media Supermart.

He is a graduate of Computer Science from the University of Benin, possesses a Masters in Business Administration; Marketing from Lagos State University and he is an alumnus of the Lagos Business School, SMP59 Class. He is also a Full Member of the Advertising Practitioner Council of Nigeria (APCON) and a member of the Education Committee of MIPAN (Media Independent Practitioner Association of Nigeria).

In addition, he has over the years attended several local and International courses such as Brand Building (Lagos Business School), Emotional Intelligence Workshop, Project Management Programme, DMSRetail District Management Workshop in Phoenix, USA, Negotiation Skills Programme at Henley Business School, Reading UK. He is a faculty member of The Retail Academy, Nigeria.
