Algorithm Media Appoints General Managers


Fast rising Media Independent agency, Algorithm Media, has elevated two of its Associate Directors to the position of General Managers of two of its subsidiaries.

The elevation that became effective since January this year, has Buki Osunkeye as the General Manager of the agency’s Mindshare Nigeria division whilst Soji Olaogun takes the reins as the General Manager of the MediaCom Nigeria business.

This announcement was made recently by Mr. Seni Adetu, Managing Director, Algorithm Media. While expressing confidence over the duo’s competence in handling the subsidiaries,  he shared his delight at having such strong leaders partner with him in service of establishing Algorithm Media as a leading Media Management company in Nigeria.

Buki, a recent attendee of Wharton Business School digital training, comes from a strategic background spanning over 18 years in advertising, broadcast media, entrepreneurship, research, experiential & digital media. She is a former Head of Marketing Comms for Bloomberg TV Africa, and in previous agency roles, ran successfully integrated marketing projects for businesses such as British American Tobacco, Coca-Cola, Virgin Atlantic, Nokia, UBA, MTN & Guinness. Buki is a performance driven individual with expertise in implementing innovative strategies and a passion for digital transformation in marketing.

Soji is a consummate media professional with 19 years’ experience in Marketing Communications and Media Management across the Nigerian market spanning major categories including FMCGs (Cadbury, GSK), Financial sector (CBN, GTBank, Access Bank), Airlines (Emirates), Alcoholic Beverage (Heineken, Guinness, Gulder, Star) & Non-Alcoholic Beverage (Pepsi, 7up), Telcos (Econet, MTN) and Oil & Gas (Mobil, Total, Shell) amongst others.  His key strengths are analytic thinking, team-building and he believes in pushing boundaries in the pursuit of out-of-the-box solutions to business challenges.

Mindshare Nigeria currently manages media business for Facebook, Whatsapp, Nokia, Canon, British Airways, Colgate and Tempo Group whilst MediaCom Nigeria handles the media accounts of P&G, NBC Universal, Twinings, Kenya Airways, Shell & Flour Mills.

Algorithm Media was formed by in 2016 to represent all GroupM operations in Nigeria. GroupM media business include MediaCom, Mindshare, Wavemaker & MEC.
