Keskese Emerges Best Experiential Agency As Sodium Brand Solutions, Others Shine At EXMAN Awards

On the night when deserving experiential agencies were rewarded for excellence at the Experiential Marketers Association of Nigeria, EXMAN Award for 2019, Keskese Limited emerged the biggest winners of the night, carting away the event Gradprix, Agency/Campaign of the Year Award.

Keskese Limited won the Grand Prix for its activation of the MTN MPulse campaign for the mobile network brand. That campaign also won bronze in the Best Event (B2C), gold in Best Activation (Consumer Experience), gold in Use of Digital in an Event and silver in the Best Activation (Consumer Experience) categories. Others are silver for Best Event (B2B) and bronze for Best Activation (Sporting Property).

Sodium Brand Solutions won the most number of gold medals, winning in the following categories: Best Event (B2C), Best Activation (Sporting Property), Best Activation (Entertainment Property) and Best Use of Props in Activation.

Ideas House, GDM Group, Maxx Connections, Town Criers, Brand Regimen and Tequila are among other agencies that won at the second edition of the EXMAN Awards.

Speaking before the commencement of the awards presentation, Chairman of the awards jury, Kolawole Oyeyemi who is the General Manager; Consumer Marketing for MTN made some observations on the works submitted. He called on agencies to be more deliberate in their entries in the future while advising that the process for submission should be taken very seriously by agencies.  The jury consist former AAAN President and Managing Director of Ladybird Advertising, Mrs Bunmi Oke and  Dean, School of Media and Communication of Pan Atlantic University, Dr Ikechukwu Obiaya.

Earlier in his welcome address, the now former President of EXMAN and Managing Director of Ideas House, Kehinde Salami noted that the event is an important one in the space as it is the only event dedicated to the celebration of experiential marketing practice in Nigeria. He said that this year’s edition of the awards is much more competitive having recorded an unprecedented 105 entries as against the 35 recorded in the first edition of the Awards.
