Odigbo, Maduegbuna, Mbanefo For Brandcom Awards’ Hall Of Fame
For their enormous contributions to the development of the integrated marketing communication industry through their various subsectors, the Brandcom awards is set to induct the trio of Enyi Odigbo, Chairman, Casers Group; Nn’Emeka Maduegbuna, Chairman of C&F Porter Novelli and Dozie Mbanefo, Managing Director of New Crystal Communications Limited into the prestigious Brandcom Awards Hall of Fame.
In the maiden edition of the awards held last year, the doyen of advertising in Nigeria and Chairman, Troyka Holdings, Biodun Shobanjo was honoured with the prestigious ‘Hall of Fame’ recognition, the biggest honour for the night for his many contributions to the growth of the Integrated Marketing Communications (IMC) industry in the country and Africa as a whole.
According to the organisers of the event, the three have contributed immensely to the integrated marketing communications industry, the business community and the country at large. Hence, this year’s edition which is billed to be bigger, more prestigious and expanded seeks to confer the recognition and carry out the induction on them on the 27th of November 2020 at D’Podium Int’l Event Centre, Lagos.
Enyi Odigbo is a visionary, but he’d prefer to be known as an integrator. Enyi won the DDB franchise in 2000, and in the last decade his group has expanded to include Capital Media- one of the region’s largest independent media buying companies, Magenta—a digital company, and now a new partnership with Fin International, the financial branding consultancy.
Nn’emeka Maduegbuna has over three decades of experience in strategic communications planning, corporate positioning and reputation management, as well as extensive practice in corporate and financial communications, public affairs, crisis management and litigation communications. Recognised as one of the leading practitioners in the West African sub-region, he continues to manage consulting teams on complex programmes covering a wide variety of sectors.
Engr. Mbanefo Dozie is one of the leading lights in the OOH sector in Nigeria. An Engineer with over 18 years experience, he has also undergone several courses on Advertising and Marketing both within Nigeria, United Kingdom and USA. He has an Outdoor Advertising working experience that spans over 15 years both in Nigeria and outside. He is also a member of the Advertising Practitioner Council of Nigeria (APCON). He has also been involved in development of data and tools for accessing efficiency of Out-of-Home Advertising. With over 50 digital boards spread across the country, his out-of-home advertising company, New Cristal Communications is undoubtedly a major player in the business of Out-of-Home advertising.
Brandcom Awards is a celebration of the exploits and achievements of brands, agencies and notable players with remarkable impacts in the brands and marketing industry. Also, notable individuals, brands and agencies that are going the extra miles in making impact in the industry will also be honoured at the event.
