Advertising Practitioners Council of Nigeria, APCON, has officially recognized Experiential Marketers’ Association of Nigeria, EXMAN, as a sectoral body in the nation’s advertising business during a lunch gathering at Radisson Hotel Ikeja, yesterday.

Speaking on this development, EXMAN president, Tade Adekunle said this is a good development that will galvanize EXMAN into adding more value to the integrated marketing communications industry in the country.

The Experiential Marketers Association of Nigeria (EXMAN) is the sectoral trade body for forward-looking experiential marketing communications agencies in Nigeria. As well as serving as a co-operative of the best experiential marketing agencies in Nigeria, the group exists to support, promote and defend the interests of over 45 member agencies, with total billing of over thirty billion naira through comprehensive core services and platforms.

The vision of the body is to be the respected force for the growth of Nigeria’s brands through meaningful experiences, while its mission is to protect, promote and regulate the strategic interest of Certified players within the Nigerian experiential Industry.

Not quite long, the body made a resolution during the Experiential Marketing Conference (#EXM2020) stating that organisations inviting experiential marketing agencies for pitch should prepare to pay N500, 000 as rejection fee to the agencies not picked.

It was also stated that no agency member should honour any invitation from any organization that is not willing to pay rejection fee.
