The MIPAN President, Mr. Femi Adelusi, said “You will agree with me that 2020 was a very challenging year for us as MIPAN and of course to all the key sectors across various industries not only in Nigeria but internationally as well. But we must adapt and evolve, even as we continue to navigate the new normal, because the excuses of 2020 will no longer be tenable in 2021.”

Dr. Vincent Nwani, Head Research, FMDQ Group on his part stated “Africa Continental Free Trade Agreement opens Nigerian economy and equally other African countries’ food chains. It gives room for media buyers or practitioners from other African countries to come to Nigeria and compete in the media space.”

In addition, Dr. Vincent Nwani said “As business owners in Nigeria we should be able to position ourselves and take advantage of the opportunity that comes with training to deal with the down side of the COVID-19.”

Similarly, he added that “Whatever it is should not be a problem but a new prospect.”

Kelechi Nwosu, MD, TBWA/CONCEPT pointed that“This year, clients are looking for more efficiency.”

On a different note, Dr. Tayo Oyedeji, CEO, Overwood Investment Limited explained that “Unless the rates increase, we can’t make more money. There is a need to reprice our media regionally and globally.”

Raheem Olabode, Executive Director, Corporate Planning and Sustainability, CMC Connect said “Data is not about perception it is a thing of reality.”
