Stanley Obi Joins Grand Oak As General Manager, Marketing

Seasoned marketing expert, Stanley Obi has joined the services of Grand Oak limited as the company’s new General Manager, Marketing after he left Coca-Cola HBC.

In his new role, he will be responsible for providing leadership and strategic guidance to the marketing team in addition to overseeing the day-to-day marketing management among other duties.

Noteworthy, Grand Oak Limited is a Marketing and Sales company of Lexcel Group. Established in 2006, the company is a leader in Nigeria’s Food and Drinks sector.

He has more than a decade experience in consumer-driven brand management, research, and innovation strategy. Also, he has a strong passion for driving brand growth through deeply rooted consumer insight and market understanding.

Prior to joining Grand Oak, he was the Revenue Growth Management Manager at Coca-Cola HBC where he was responsible for the delivery of category management priorities, development of promo strategy, development of commercial policy to support strategy among others.

He started his career as a Manager, Technical Services at JT CANADA (NIGERIA) LTD and later moved to Franchworld subsidiary of HiiT as Training Manager.

He began his marketing career when he joined The HEINEKEN Company as Sales Executive. He spent over 13 years there, from a humble beginning as a Sales Executive he left the organisation as theHead of Innovation & Portfolio Manager RTDs. It was after this he joined Coca-Cola HBC.

He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from the Delta State University. He also attended the Lagos Business School, Pan-Atlantic University for the Fundamentals of Management programme.
