Havas Nigeria Wins Glovo Account, Launches High Impact Campaign

In the closing months of 2021, global award-winning 360 degrees marketing communication agency, Havas Nigeria has emerged from a metamorphotic phase to clinch Glovo’s advertising brief.

The agency got the brief to work on the Euro-based quick-commerce start-up and on-demand courier service that purchases, picks up, and delivers products ordered through its mobile app. This victory came through a competitive global pitch that saw Havas Nigeria beat all-timers to emerge the sole advertising agency for Glovo.

The agency got down to work delivering on a campaign using heavy technological tools used for resource geo-mapping, allocation and buying. In the relatively short time it commenced the campaign, the agency got the expected awareness and bottom-line impact as the Glovo app witnessed a huge surge in user acquisition within the campaign period.

Glovo, one of Europe’s biggest errand app services, began operations in Nigeria in 2021 and launched a billboard campaign alongside heavy digital and TV in Q4 2021.
