Terragon Unveils New Data-Driven Marketing Platform For SMEs

Terragon, Data and Marketing Technology Company, has launched a data-driven marketing platform, TerragonPrime, into the Nigerian market to help accelerate the growth of Small and Medium Scale Enterprises (SMEs) in Africa.

The company, at the unveiling of the new platform at its Lagos office, told Journalists that TerragonPrime  will help businesses make the best use of their marketing spend and increase their performance by at least 50 percent.

Oti Ukubeyinje, Vice President, Product Marketing & Growth, Terragon said as part of the launch offer, the company will give 5,000 free message credits to the first 500 businesses to sign up including Zero licence fees.

In another vein, the company said the new platform will transform businesses, stating that it is out to contribute to the growth of the business landscape while focusing on SMEs considering their contributions to the country’s GDP.

Noteworthy, according to the World Bank, “SMEs contribute about 50% of Africa’s GDP. They are the largest contributors to the African Economy, in the areas of jobs, GDP, etc. In Nigeria, SMEs contribute 48% of GDP, account for 96% of businesses and 84% of employment.”

Ukubeyinje added that the platform improves marketing efficiency and campaign performance. Also, offers lower customer acquisition costs.

Other benefits and opportunities are: Access to 115 million profiles; opportunity to create custom audiences based on various criteria like age, gender, location, interest etc; Understand customers better through insights provided; ability to segment audience; and Reach consumers online and offline through direct messaging on WhatsApp and SMS.

Businesses also have the opportunity to identify ideal customers and target similar profiles, adding that they can also target such as sports enthusiasts, salary earners, fashion lovers, digital-savvy consumers, and others.
