Tolulope Adedeji Joins Forbes Communication Council

Marketing Director and Executive Director for Anheuser-Busch InBev, Tolulope Adedeji has been accepted into the Forbes Communications Council, a prestigious invitation-only community for senior level executives in communications, marketing, and public relations.

According to available information, Adedeji was vetted and selected by a review committee based on the depth and diversity of her senior-level global business experience, primarily in the Alcoholic Beverage, Home & Personal Care industries. Criteria for acceptance includes a track record of successfully impacting business growth metrics, tenure and experience in the marketing and communications field, as well as personal and professional achievements and honours.

As an accepted member of the Council, Tolulope has been invited to share her insights and contribute articles on various business topics for publication on She will also contribute content to be published on Q&A panels alongside other experts. 

Taking to her LinkedIn page to react to this, Adedeji wrote, “Truly honoured to be welcomed and admitted into the Forbes Communication Council, an invite based globally respected community of leading Marketing, Strategy, Business leaders across the world. Surely, you’ll be reading my articles on Forbes occasionally.”

A thoroughbred marketing communication professional with over 17 years of building brands and profitable market share growth across Africa, specifically in Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya, Uganda, South Africa and Ethiopia, Adedeji has also had a wide range of experience working with Procter and Gamble on such campaigns that have become a compendium of reference including ‘Always 8 hours’ campaign which was exported globally, designed and launched In-store marketing models, driving sales, awareness and trial in the retail environment/ stores, new brand design and launch across Africa among others.

Tolulope graduated from Babcock University with a degree in Business Administration in 2003, obtained an MBA in Marketing from the Obafemi Awolowo University in 2007 and an M.Sc. in International Management in 2015 from the University of Liverpool.
