PHD Clinches Top Spot In WARC Media 100 Most Effective Media Network


Global media and marketing communications agency, PHD Worldwide has beaten all-comers to rank as the most effective media network according to the rankings of the 2022 WARC Media 100.

PHD Worldwide also jumped from the fourth position to the third in the independent annual ranking of the world’s most awarded campaigns and companies for creativity and innovation (formerly Gunn Media 100).

PHD UK is also celebrating a considerable leap up the media agency rankings to this year’s third place in the WARC Media 100. Their campaign ‘Media that eats pollution’ for Volkswagen also grabbed third place in the world’s most awarded campaigns for media. The winning campaign marked the launch of the ID.3, VW’s first fully electric vehicle. PHD commissioned a series of murals painted with air purifying paint, which meant the ads were literally ‘eating’ pollution from the air.

PHD’s success continued with two local offices scoring in the top three most effective media agencies, with PHD Auckland ranked second in the world and PHD New York ranked third in the WARC Effective 100.
