Beiersdorf Appoints Temitayo Ige As Global Brand Communication Lead
Beiersdorf, Personal Care Product Manufacturing company, has elevated Temitayo Ige, a seasoned marketing communication professional to the position of the Global Brand Communication Lead of the company.
Before her elevation, she was the Digital Brand Manager for Central, East, West Africa of the company where she and her team oversaw the strategic digital marketing outlook of the business and the digital activities across 35 countries for NIVEA. Today NIVEA brand is one of the fastest-growing in the market.
In her new position at Beiersdorf, she will be responsible for the planning and execution process of public relations activities including product, purpose, and brand campaign initiatives among others.
Prior to working on NIVEA, she worked as Account Director at Ogilvy Nigeria. Other places she worked include; Senior Brand and Strategy Manager/Country Manager (Ghana) at Alpha & Jam Nigeria; Digital Marketing Strategist at Wild Fusion; also Digital Marketing Strategist at Etu Odi Communications; and Admin Executive/Accounts/Marketing Assistant at London Smiling Dental Group; amongst others.
She has helped to strategically position several top brands digitally, brands such as Coca-Cola, Knorr, FBN Quest, Diamond Bank, and Airtel Nigeria, amongst others.
Ige had her first degree in Mass Communications at Babcock University, Nigeria, an MA in Strategic Marketing Communications at the University of Greenwich, London, and a Professional Diploma in Digital Marketing from the Digital Marketing Institute of Ireland amongst other professional qualifications.
She is also a Google-certified trainer from the Digital Marketing Institute of Ireland and she is also a member board of directors of the Association of Digital Marketing Professionals (ADMARP). She is the founder of Isten Digital House and co-founder of Digital Marketing meet-up, Nigeria.
