Visa Appoints Mariam Ayoade Director, Global AdTech – Global Marketing Capabilities


Visa, a global multinational financial services corporation, has promoted Mariam Ayoade to the position of Director, Global AdTech – Global Marketing Capabilities of the company.

Prior to that, she was the company’s Director, Media and Digital, Sub Saharan Africa and was responsible for overseeing the media and digital strategy development, execution and implementing the global marketing communication strategies.

In her new role as Director, Global AdTech – Global Marketing Capabilities, she will be responsible for driving all AdTech partnerships and projects across Visa Marketing globally. Partnering with regional and market-level Visa marketers to improve Visa marketing performance by utilizing the latest and greatest advertising technology available among others.

Ayoade is a Marketing Communications professional with strategic insight into developing, planning, deploying, and analyzing multiple successful digital marketing campaigns across multiple verticals. She has developed multiple marketing campaign strategies for small, medium, and large income brands in the Telecommunication, Financial, and FMCG industries to mention a few.

She has worked in various organizations and contributed to their growth. Some of the companies include Peridot Promotions Limited where she was the Team LeadTeam Lead; others are HPZ as the Research Analyst and Brand Ambassador; Digital & Spatial Solutions as Data & Research Analyst; Jeest as Manager, Digital Strategy and Optimization; and Omnicom Media Group as Business Lead; Digital Service.

She holds a Master of Science in Digital Marketing from the University of Salford. She also holds a Professional Diploma in Digital Strategy and Planning from the Digital Marketing Institute.
She is a member of the Internet Marketing Associations’ “Women’s Leadership group” in the United States of America where she is a founding member; also a member of the Institute of Direct and Digital Marketing, United Kingdom, and the Institute of Digital Marketing Ireland.

She was also an Associate Faculty member and a facilitator on Digital Media and Marketing at the Alphabet Media Academy.
