Samuel Iboroma Joins Famfa Oil Nigeria As Head Of Communications
Consummate communication professional, Samuel Iboroma has been appointed by Famfa Oil Nigeria, one of the leading indigenous Nigerian oil, gas exploration, and production companies as its Head of Communications (Group).
Prior to joining the company, he was the Corporate Communications Manager of Flour Mills of Nigeria Plc. In his new role at Famfa Oil Nigeria, he will be responsible for overseeing all the internal and external communications of the company, ensuring its messages are engaging among others.
Iboroma is a top-performing and articulate communications professional experienced in internal communications, employee engagement, brand management, special events planning, and social media marketing.
While at Flour Mills of Nigeria Plc, he was responsible for the development, positive positioning, and continuous management of all the external communication needs of the FMN Group. He directly oversaw strategy formulation and execution for all public relations and media activities for all subsidiaries and divisions in the FMN Group which cuts across, Foods, Agro-allied, and Support services, including product packaging and distribution.
Prior to that, he was the Team Lead, Corporate Communications at C&I Leasing Plc where he developed and implemented an innovative internal communications strategy to improve employee engagement through strategic messaging. This was achieved using a carefully planned storytelling technique that included video animations among others.
He holds a Master’s degree in Media and Communications from the School of Media and Communication, Pan-Atlantic University, and Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Business Administration and Management from the Ahmadu Bello University, Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria.
