Fatimat Lawal Joins Pladis Global As Brand Manager, Sub Saharan Africa

Award-winning marketeer, Fatimat Lawal has joined Pladis Global, one of the world’s leading snacking companies as Brand Manager, Sub Saharan Africa.

She will be responsible for increasing the visibility of McVitie’s and Haansbro biscuit brands.

Fatimat, who resumed the role in February made the announcement recently in a post on her LinkedIn page.

She wrote, “In the quest for growth, learning and service, I joined the pladis Global Family one month ago. It has been an exciting time becoming an integral part of the global team committed to bringing moments of happiness to the world with carefully crafted and delicious Biscuits. Allow me to introduce you to my new babies McVitie’s and Haansbro.”

She was until her new role a Brand Manager at Olam, a major food and agri-business company, where she managed Tasty Tom and De Rica Brands by developing and executing strategic communications and consumer engaging activities to build strong Brand equity, deliver market share growth and overall business profitability.

Prior to joining Olam, she worked at PZ Cussons.

Fatimat holds a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Business Administration from the University of Lagos, Akoka. She then proceeded to Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, for a Master of Business Administration.

She is skilled in Marketing, Nielsen, Brand Management, Digital Marketing and Data Analysis.
