AOT 5.0 Conference: Creative Economy And Digital Innovation Poised To Converge In Lagos

With an unwavering commitment to progress, Eko Innovation Centre in partnership with the Lagos State Government has announced that this year’s Art of Technology(AOT) Conference in Lagos will focus on creativity and digital innovation
According to the organisers, this year’s theme which will dive into two crucial pillars that are shaping Lagos’s future: “The Creative Economy” and “A Digital Lagos” will also bring together industry leaders, experts, and enthusiasts to discuss the intersection between the creative economy and digital innovation in Lagos, Nigeria, and the wider African region.
The conference is poised for a grand unveiling that will redefine the future of technology and innovation in Nigeria’s Centre of Excellence..
AOT 5.0 will bring together technology industry stakeholders, policymakers, enthusiasts, ecosystem players, investors, business founders and executives, venture capital firms, startups, and technology talents to create policies that will drive the development of a smarter Lagos.
The event will engage potential exhibitions to showcase the latest technology products, services, and solutions to physical and virtual (if possible) attendees. The event also seeks to spotlight companies in Lagos and the West African sub-region by extension.
The AOT 5.0 Startup pitch competition will typically involve entrepreneurs and startups presenting their business ideas to a panel of judges or potential investors. Their primary goal will be to convince the judges or investors that their idea is innovative, feasible, and has the potential to succeed in Lagos state and solve civic problems.
Each participant will be given a fixed time (usually between 3-5 minutes) to present their idea to the judges and audience. This could be followed by a Q&A session with the judges.
Proposed keynote speakers for the event include Sundar Pichai, CEO of Google; Chris Anderson, CEO of 2D Robotics; Bosun Tijani, CEO of CCHUB; JOI ITO, Entrepreneur & venture Capitaist; Bozoma St John, Fmr. Netflix CMO; and Kunle Afolayan, Actor, Film-maker & Entrepreneur.
The proposed speakers for the masterclass session include Micheal Collin, CEO of Mavin Records; Mariam Apaokogi, Content Creator; Silas Adekunle, CEO of Reach Robotics; And Tom Markham, Head of Creative of Meta.
