Temitope Joseph Assumes New Position As Associate Director, Brand Strategy At Dentsu Creative


Fast-rising industry professional, Temitope Joseph has been elevated to the position of Associate Director, Brand Strategy at Dentsu Creative Nigeria, a creative digital network.

Prior to the promotion, Temitope was the Senior Brand Strategist and Senior Group Head, Brand Strategy of the creative agency.

In his new position, he will be responsible for leading the Strategy/Planning unit of Dentsu Creative Lagos, as well as spearheading the transformation, through actionable insights, of businesses of Dentsu Creative’s clients like Netflix, Fidelity Bank, and American Express amongst others.

With over a decade of experience in developing different variants of winning strategies for individuals and businesses, ranging from traditional advertising, digital marketing, creative & content, event & experiential, brand, and business strategies,  he is also expected to bring his passion for strategy, storytelling, poetry, digital, trend-spotting and designs to bear in the new role.

Before joining Dentsu Creative Nigeria, Temitope was a Digital Marketing Lead at Seven-Up Bottling Company where he was charged with the responsibility of driving the digital marketing affairs, initiatives and campaigns of the SBC corporate as well as some of the product brands within its portfolio.

Temitope started his career at Headstart Consulting as the Trainee Brand and Business Strategist where he contributed to developing include brand and business launch strategies for clients; online brand strategies which included website content direction and social media strategies.

He then moved to Aviva Digital, a subsidiary of Innovate Digital Group as the Brand Strategist. After a few months, he moved to Damaris Mode Coolture as the Business Development Executive.

Other places where he has worked include, SwiftThink Limited, Interactive CT, Aqua Agency, Insight Communications Limited, Noah’s Ark Communications, Livespot Group, and Playhouse Communication Ltd., where he has worked on such brands as MTN, Nokia, Heritage Bank, Pepsi, 7Up, Aquafina, 3Crowns, Airtel, Friesland Campina, Airtel Nigeria, Mr. Chef Seasoning Cubes, Sterling Bank, etc. to develop and deliver experience strategies that cut across the broad spectrum of business, brand, creative, content, communication, digital and channel.

Temitope is an alumnus of the University of Ibadan where he bagged a B.A in Philosophy.
