Access Bank, FMN, SBC, Reckitt, Win Big At 2023 Brandcom Awards

The just concluded Brandcom Awards 2023 came alive with sparks of delight and unforgettable moments as outstanding brands such as Access Bank, Flour Mills of Nigeria, Unilever, Reckitt, SBC, and CWAY Food and Beverages were recognized for their outstanding performances.
The annual awards event which was held at The Civic Centre, Victoria Island, Lagos on Saturday, 4th of November 2023 is aimed at celebrating the exploits and achievements of brands, agencies, and notable players that have gone the extra mile in making a great impact in the industry.
Speaking at the award ceremony, convener of Brandcom Awards and publisher of Brand Communicator, Joshua Ajayi while delivering his speech said “Let me congratulate all the awardees here. I will not relent in continuously thanking everyone present for showing strong belief in the capacity of Nigeria’s Marketing Communications industry to rise beyond diverse challenges to take its rightful place in the global space.”
Access Bank won seven separate awards as it emerged as the Most Outstanding Retail Bank Brand, the Most Outstanding Brand in Sustainability, the Most Outstanding Financial Services Group of the Year, Most Outstanding Bank Brand of the Year, as well as SME Friendly Bank of the Year for it Access Bank Ghana.
SBC brands were also awarded as Pepsi emerged Best Carbonated Soft Drink Brand in Consumer Engagement and Aquafina smiled home with Most Outstanding Bottled Water Brand in Consumer Engagement.
Flour Mills of Nigeria won Most Outstanding Food Manufacturing Company of the Year, Golden Penny Soup Festival won the Most Innovative Brand Engagement Platform of the Year, as well as Golden Penny Past with Most Outstanding Pasta Brand of the Year.
Reckitt brands also won big as Mortein emerged as the Most Outstanding Insecticide Brand of the Year, while Dettol won the Iconic Disinfectant Brand of the Year, and Harpic got the Award for the Most Outstanding Toilet Cleaning Brand of the Year.
CWAY Food and Beverages brands also won big as CWAY Water emerged Most Outstanding Water Manufacturing Company of the Year, Nutri-Yo got the Award for the Fast Growing Yoghurt Brand of the Year, and CWAY Water Dispenser got the Iconic Water Dispenser Brand of the Year.
Other recognized organization that were awarded include; Vitafoam, IBST Media, Royco, Close Up, Swan Water, Itel Nigeria, Peak Milk, Moniepoint, GB Foods, Wellness, Cowbellpedia, Malta Guinness, Mouka Foam, Wema Bank and others.
Also, individuals were honoured for their tremendous impact in the industry such as Segun Ogunleye, Amaechi Okobi, Mrs. Omobolanle Victor-Laniyan, Kemi Longe, Mike Miller, Adebowale Adebayo (Mr. Macaroni), Ilyas Kazeem and others. Some CEO were also recognized at the event such as Steve Babaeko, Gbenja Victor Afolabi, Isreal Jaiye Opayemi, and others.
Some agencies who has performed excellently well in the outgoing year were also recognized for their imput, they are Resori, Outori, X3M Ideas, Chains Reaction, Red Media, Media Craft, Penzaarville Africa, Brands Optimal and others.
The award event also witnessed the induction of the living legend into the 2023 Brandcom Hall of Fame. They are Bola Akingbade, Wale Adenuga, and Jimi Awosika.
