Agu, Oyebanjo, Abunene Kick Off Day 3 of National Advertising Conference


Day 3 of the National Advertising Conference is off to a flying start with breakout sessions from industry experts and professionals addressing myriads of topics relating to nation building, advertising and other related issues.

Happening at the Bolton White Event Centre in Abuja, the conference which commenced on Wednesday with a fireside chat, witnessed the presence and participation of key individuals in government as well as industry leaders and stakeholders.

Today’s sessions are off to a flying start with breakout sessions underway with Mr. Omo Kingsley Abunene  speaking to the topic, “Out of Home Advertising: Scaling up for global competitiveness”; industry Amazon, Mrs Hannah Oyebanjo,  speaking to the topic, “Unlocking the Market for SMEs – Funding and Marketing” and Mr. Emmanuel Agu, – speaking to the topic,“ The role of IMC in Nation Building.”

In line with the practice among other reputable professions, the professional conference for Advertising practitioners, appropriately named the National Advertising Conference was initiated and debuted in 2019.

In continuation of that tradition, the 2023 National Advertising Conference has been unveiled. With the theme: ‘Marketing Communications as an enabler of National Transformation’ the conference is scheduled to hold on December 6 to December 8, 2023, at the International Conference Centre, Abuja.

Marketing Communications professionals and scholars from the various sectors and specializations of the marketing communications industry will converge to share ideas, knowledge and perspectives on the new trends and challenges that shape the profession and business of marketing communications across the world. They will also proffer solutions and point the way to a healthy growth of the industry to the benefit of all stakeholders.

Highlights of the conference are keynote and panel discussions on the current economic reality in Nigeria and imperatives of a reform; economic impact of advertising in the Nigerian economy – the multiplier; Brand Nigeria – Changing the narrative; understanding the AfCTA and the implications for the IMC industry; Nigerian content revolution – Amazon Prime, Netflix, Showmax.
