PR Week 2024: NIPR Unveils 15 Partnering Hospitality Brands

In a bid to ensure the success of the upcoming Nigeria Public Relations 2024 National Conference now tagged ‘PR Week’ taking place at Abeokuta this April, the National Planning Committee has secured an initial 15 reputable hotels in Abeokuta as key partners.

In a statement signed by Oluwaseun Boye, the Secretary of the Local Organising Committee and Ogun State Chapter Chairman, the Chairman of the National Planning Committee of the Week, Chief Yomi Badejo-Okusanya (YBO) said that these initial number of hotels have agreed to offer discounted rates to delegates.

The statement further stated that the hotels selected so far include, Park Inn by Radisson, Green Resort Hotel, Conference Hotel, Continental Suites, IBD Int’l and others. These hotels are within a 15-minute driving radius from the main venue of the week, the June 12 Cultural Centre in Kuto, Abeokuta, thus making commuting easy.

It further read that with more than 2,000 delegates expected to attend the week from various locations, additional hotels are actively being pursued and will be added to the list once secured.

Members are strongly encouraged to capitalize on the early booking discounts to secure comfortable accommodation during their stay in Abeokuta.

Badejo-Okusanya (YBO) also stressed the need for all accredited hotels to provide quality service to delegates to the week and ensure that they are offered a most memorable experience and stay.

He warned that the committee would not hesitate to drop any hotel found wanting. He also announced that a Hospitality Help Line will soon be launched to assist delegates having challenges in securing hotel accommodation.

YBO said the Nigeria Public Relations Week, organized by the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR), is slated to take place from Monday, April 22nd, to Friday, April 26th, 2024.

He added that this event is anticipated to be the largest gathering of practitioners in Nigeria, attracting distinguished government officials, top business executives, and experts in public relations, marketing, and communication.

The Nigerian Institute of Public Relations is organising the maiden Nigeria Public Relations Week scheduled to be held between Monday 22nd and Friday 26th of April 2024 and will be the largest convocation of practitioners in Nigeria.

The event will attract eminent government functionaries, top business executives, public relations, marketing and communication experts among others.
