Just In: The Hook, Insight Publicis Win Airtel Nigeria Creative Account As Algorithm Clinches Media Business


Information reaching Brand Communicator has it that Airtel Nigeria, one of Nigeria’s leading telecommunications giants has moved its creative business to two agencies – The Hook and Insight Publicis.

With the new account move, the creative powerhouses now have the immense task of either building on the legacy that Noah’s Ark is leaving behind or steering the telco brand in a new creative direction.

The agencies core responsibilities may include developing multi-platform creative campaigns that capture Airtel’s brand essence, while driving meaningful engagement and affinity among its diverse customer base. This will involve creating compelling narratives across traditional media like TV, radio, print and out-of-home, among others.

In a related development, Airtel Nigeria has also moved its media planning and buying responsibilities from MediaReach OMD to Algorithm Media. Algorithm Media’s key mandate is expected to be to leverage advanced analytics and audience insights to craft highly targeted and efficient media strategies. This could include harnessing programmatic buying capabilities to reach precisely defined audience segments across digital platforms.
