Anthony Eigbe Pitches Tent With UAC As Vice President, Creative & Communications
Anthony Eigbe has been appointed as the Vice President, Creative and Communications at UAC of Nigeria plc, one of Nigeria’s most iconic companies.
In his new position, he will be operating out of a newly formed sub-unit, 1879 Tech Hub; a collection of subject-matter experts working across 4 verticals ( Business Tech, Digital Innovation, Tech Academy & Creative Comms) to deliver on UAC’s vision of fully becoming tech-compliant.
Prior to his new appointment, he was Creative Director at X3M Ideas.
According to him, the new role marks a deliberate continuation of his creative evolution.
“It’s been a dream of mine to experience firsthand a large-scale manufacturing business value chain and see in real-time the direct impact marketing plays.
“I want to use this opportunity to thank the entire board and management of UAC for their unwavering faith throughout this process.” He remarked.
Eigbe’s career journey started as Creative Executive at Bates Cosse, he then ported to Cosse TTL as Copywriter where he was responsible for creating breakthrough communication campaigns easily adapted and executed along several mediums which mostly include New Media, ATL and BTL.
He also served as Senior Ideation Executive at EXP Marketing Nigeria thinking and creating seamless, practical and ineffable experiential ideas for a host of local and multi-national brands.
At Insight Communications Limited, he worked as Group Head, Copy where he led a creative team focused on delivering communication campaigns that impacted culture. key accounts worked on includes: Pepsi (Nigeria and International), H2Oh!, Mirinda, 7Up, Aquafina, Polaris Bank, and Scanfrost.
Eigbe holds a Diploma in Digital Marketing from The Chartered Institute of Marketing as well as a Diploma in Copywriting, Concepting, & Storytelling from Miami Ad School.
