In a bid to promote professionalism and grow the advertising industry, the Association of Advertising Agencies of Nigeria (AAAN) in collaboration with Henley Africa has concluded plans to launch a virtual ad school for creative minds called Adcademy Nigeria.

Adcademy is a global education and innovative marketing communications academy operating from the heart of Africa, Lagos, Nigeria. It is also a virtual learning online platform for career development and for learning advertising, branding, strategy, digital marketing, tech and social media.

Henley Business School, Africa (formerly Henley Management College, South Africa), in the Paulshof suburb of Johannesburg, is a campus of the British-based Henley Business School, one of the oldest business schools in Europe with operations in 17 countries across the globe. The African institution shares international accreditation with its parent and is also locally accredited in South Africa. The South African campus has offered the MBA in South Africa since 1992. In 2002, the South African location became a fully owned subsidiary of the British parent. As the operation in South Africa is the only Henley Business School in the African continent, it has students living in neighbouring countries studying and being supported through this office.

AAAN is the umbrella body that coordinates and promotes the interest of Advertising Agencies in Nigeria. Launched in 1973 as a sectoral body within the Nigerian marketing communications sphere, the AAAN has become a force to be reckoned with both locally and internationally. It was formerly known as Association of Advertising Practitioners of Nigeria (AAPN), the Association formally changed its name from Association of Advertising Practitioners of Nigeria (AAPN) to Association of Advertising Agencies of Nigeria (AAAN) in 2004.
