Marketing professional and one of Brandcom Awards Top 35 Under 35 professionals, Funmi Abimbola has been appointed Senior Brand Manager, Brown Forman Portfolio at the Coca-Cola Company.
In her new role, Funmi is expected to lead the Jack Daniel’s family of brands including the super-premium range comprising of Gentleman Jack, Jack Daniel’s Single Barrel, and Woodford Reserve, managing the end-to-end brand process from insight-driven strategy, brand planning, innovation to execution across all channels and touchpoints.
With over 8-year experience, Funmi is a marketing professional with a strong focus on brand management and project leadership. She specializes in delivering marketing solutions that leverage the power of relationships to create impactful, integrated campaigns.
A growth-focused professional with expertise in developing and executing strategies that drive engagement, brand experiences, and growth, Funmi boasts a proven track record of leading high-performing teams and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver exceptional consumer experiences.
Prior to her new movement, she was brand manager, African Barcadi for Only Much Louder where she was responsible for leading marketing campaigns for Bacardi Nigeria’s brand portfolio while assisting in other markets, including DRC, South Africa, and Romania, ensuring successful execution.
Funmi started her career as a Media Planning Executive at Sharemind Lagos in 2017 before porting to Noah’s Ark Communications as Digital Account Executive.
She also served at Redwolf Company as Senior Brand Executive and Team Lead, Brand Management. she’s worked with brands such as Dusse, Patron, Bombay Sapphire, Grey Goose and William Lawsons, bringing bold, luxury brand experiences to life.
Funmi holds a Master of Business Administration in Business Management and Enabling Commerce from Nexford University as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Visual and Performing Arts from University of Ilorin.
