Coca-Cola Unites 13 Iconic Chains In “And A Coke” Campaign.

Coca-Cola has achieved a historic first by bringing together 13 beloved quick-service restaurants; Domino’s, Popeyes, Jack in the Box, Arby’s, Culver’s, Five Guys, Jimmy John’s, Panda Express, Sonic, Wendy’s, Whataburger, White Castle, and Wingstop, in its vibrant “And a Coke” national campaign. The campaign celebrates the instinctive phrase “…and a Coke” that diners commonly add to their restaurant orders, turning everyday meals into a familiar ritual across drive-throughs and over the counter worldwide.
Launched in cinemas on April 3 ahead of TV, digital, social, Uber Eats, and DoorDash roll out in mid-April, the three 30-second spots (“Tricky Orders,” “Evening Eats,” “Drive Thru Orders”) showcase diverse American scenes: Midwest moms tackling complex orders, country-western crews, death-metal goths, skateboarding stoners, bikers, and soccer moms, all instinctively adding “And a Coke” to their orders.
These partners generated $65.95 billion in 2024 sales across thousands of locations, marking 550 cumulative years of collaboration, with nine exclusive ties spanning over 30 years each. Coca-Cola serves over 500,000 U.S. food service outlets, from restaurants and hotels to theaters and parks, where the phrase has become a cultural staple since 1886 soda fountains.
A brand study reveals over 90% of Coke drinkers stick to it when available, underscoring its role in everyday rituals amid recovering diner traffic. The campaign elevates these moments, turning routine orders into shared cultural touchstones that resonate across generations.
Dagmar Boggs, President of Foodservice and On-Premise North America, called Foodservice Coca-Cola’s “beating heart.” Shakir Moin, Coca-Cola’s head of marketing for the same zone, praised the unprecedented coordination across chains to capture this universal instinct.
Produced by WPP Open X (Ogilvy-led) with Publicis and Zeno Group, it highlights foodservice’s projected dominance, nearing half of U.S. food spending by 2030, while celebrating enduring bonds that make every meal memorable.
