Following the continual success of VerdantZeal’s Innovation Series and calls for its extension beyond Lagos, the marketing communications group has in partnership with the Kaduna State Government, announced the first Innovention Roundtable schedule to hold in Kaduna State.
Billed to hold on the 19th of October this year at the Umar Musa Yar’Adua hall, Muhammed Murtala Square, Racehorse road in Kaduna, the round table is themed: “How Innovention Drives Entrepreneurship: The case for SME’s and start ups”.
Among Innoventors billed to speak at the rountable are Nasir El Rufai; Executive Governor, Kaduna State, Yusuf Hamisu Abubakar, Laoye Jaiyeola; Chief Executive Officer, Nigeria Economic Summit Group, Aisha Ahmad,; Chairperson, WIMBIZ among other speakers.
The Verdant Group had earlier in the year during its sixth annual Innovention series said that it will run the series as mini bites of the main event in form of roundtable across states in the country, while it will start the expansion beyond Nigeria to other countries in West African Coast.
“As we institutionalize the success around the series, there is also the necessity to take the conversation abroad particularly along West Coast of Africa. What it means is that the series has become something of a public trust.”
The Innovention Series is a brainchild of Verdant Zeal which was instituted as a platform to examine the question of Africa’s development, hone in on opportunities for growth while focusing on leveraging inherent strengths.
It attracts patrons from both the public and private sectors and has become a strong voice in stimulating pragmatic conversations that challenge the status quo.
