LOMA 2025 Commences Today With Conference As International Delegates, Industry Stakeholders Shower Encomiums On Organisers

The much-anticipated Location Marketing Awards, LOMA 2025 has kicked off today with a Conference at the Marcellina’s Place, GRA Ikeja, Lagos, with the theme “Smarter OOH for Business Growth,” attracting a distinguished gathering of international delegates and industry stakeholders who have praised the organisers for their exceptional efforts in positioning Nigeria’s advertising sector on the global map.
This year’s edition of the prestigious event has drawn industry leaders, advertising professionals, and technology partners from across the world, a feat which observers say reinforces LOMA’s growing reputation as a premier platform for out-of-home advertising discourse and networking.
International delegates at the ongoing conference have expressed overwhelming admiration for the scale and impact of LOMA 2025, with many noting the event’s rapid evolution into a continental force.
Venkatraj Radhakrishnan, Global Sales Head at Moving Walls, shared his impressions: “From what I am seeing since I got to Nigeria, LOMA is bigger than what we are seeing from my market. Having seen the Award process, it is worth of emulation. I am recommending we go Africa stage from here.”
Layla Lei, Sales Manager at ABSEN LED, emphasized the event’s transformative potential, stating: “LOMA is a fast-growing event in the industry, and I’m watching it climb to prominence. It acts as a vital window for Nigeria to the world, and I’m confident that LOMA is poised to spark a wave of change throughout Africa’s advertising sector. Absen has a long-standing presence in Nigeria. The clients here are incredibly passionate and collaborative, which really helps us understand the market and deliver effective solutions. This is my third time in Nigeria, and unlike anywhere else, it feels like coming home.”
Remi Du Preez, Managing Director of Polygon South Africa, who has been with LOMA since its inaugural edition, praised the organisers’ vision: “We have been with LOMA since edition one and the work that Kingsley is doing with LOMA is marveling as this is positioning our industry in simplified form and in better and bright light.”
The conference’s theme, “Smarter OOH for Business Growth,” reflects the industry’s commitment to leveraging technology and innovative strategies to drive business success in the rapidly evolving out-of-home advertising landscape.
As the conference continues, industry stakeholders expect more groundbreaking discussions, networking opportunities, and insights that will shape the future of out-of-home advertising in Nigeria and across the African continent.
