Indomie is already a staple in Nigerian homes, the go-to meal that fits every moment and every generation. Palooza takes that bond out of the kitchen and into the streets, giving fans fresh, exciting ways to connect with the brand they love.

In Abuja, everyone was talking about the Indomie Combos. Indomie Chicken Pepper Soup, Indomie Asun, Indomie & Nkwobi, Indomie Africana and Indomie Gizdodo had people lining up, tasting and comparing notes.

These weren’t just gimmicks. Each combo paired a household favourite with dishes Nigerians already know and love, sparking a simple but powerful thought: what else can Indomie do?

And the discovery didn’t stop at the food.

Boy Skido, Ice Prince and Spyro kept the energy high on stage, while games, dance-offs, giveaways and a host of other activities meant there was always something happening off it.

The beauty of Palooza was that everyone experienced it their own way. Some came for the music, some got pulled into a game, some went on a flavour adventure, and others just soaked up the vibe with friends. Indomie set the stage, and the crowd brought it to life.

For a brand experience built around “Where Moments Meet Fun,” Abuja offered an early indication of what IndomiePalooza 2026 is trying to create: not simply an event that consumers attend, but a space where different activities give people reasons to participate, interact and spend time together.

The nationwide celebration, which combines music, games, entertainment and different ways to enjoy Indomie, opened in Abuja on September 12 before moving to Port Harcourt a week later.

Abuja Sets the Pace

There was no single route through the Abuja experience.

Some consumers gravitated towards the games. Others were drawn to the music and entertainment. The different IndomieCombo booths offered another point of interest, with IndomieChicken Pepper Soup, Indomie Asun, Indomie & Nkwobi, Indomie Africana and Indomie Gizdodo presenting familiar Nigerian flavours in new combinations.

That variety was part of the appeal.

Consumers could move between activities at their own pace, returning to the music when a familiar song came on or joining a game when the competition became interesting.

Performances by Boy Skido, Ice Prince and Spyro provided some of the biggest crowd moments, but the energy around the venue was not confined to the stage.

Dance competitions, giveaways and interactive activities kept people involved throughout the day.

In many ways, that participation is central to the Palooza proposition. Consumers are not simply being entertained; they are helping shape the atmosphere around them.

Port Harcourt Adds Its Own Rhythm

A week later, the experience moved to Port Harcourt, where the Yakubu Gowon Stadium hosted the September 19 stop.

The city brought its own energy to the occasion.

Reekado Banks and Victor AD headlined the musical performances, drawing the crowd towards the stage, while the games, interactive experiences, and Indomie Combo stations provided activity across the venue.

The difference between the two stops was subtle but noticeable. The Palooza concept remained the same, but the audience gave each location its own character.

That is part of what makes a nationwide platform like this interesting. A brand can create the setting, but the people who occupy it ultimately determine its mood.

In Abuja, the experience developed around one kind of energy. In Port Harcourt, it found another.

What remained constant was the opportunity to come together and have a good time.

Different Flavours, One Shared Experience

The Indomie Combos is an important part of that experience.

Rather than presenting a single way to enjoy the noodles, Palooza invites consumers to explore so many different combinations inspired by familiar Nigerian flavours: Chicken Pepper Soup, Asun, Nkwobi, Africana and Gizdodo.

It is an approach that reflects the way Nigerians interact with food in everyday life. We adapt recipes, combine flavours, add our own touches and often discover new favourites in the process.

At Palooza, that sense of experimentation sits alongside music, games and entertainment.

As Ebere Anajama, Brand Manager, explains:

“Indomie Palooza is about creating opportunities for people to come together and share Indomie moment. We want consumers to discover the different ways they can enjoy Indomie, connect with one another and create memories. That is really what ‘Where Moments Meet Fun’ means to us.”

The food, therefore, is part of a broader experience.

A group of friends might come for the music and end up trying a new combination. Someone might arrive to explore the food stations and stay for a performance. Others might spend most of their time playing games or simply catching up with friends.

There is no prescribed way to experience Palooza.

The Moments In Between

Perhaps the most revealing part of the experience is what happens between the headline moments. It is the friends arguing over who will win a game. The spontaneous dance moves when a familiar song comes on. The conversations around the different Indomie Combos.

The pictures taken before heading home. The people who arrive together and leave with stories about something unexpected that happened during the day.

These are not necessarily the moments that appear on an event schedule, but they are often the ones that give a live experience its character.

And they capture what Indomie Palooza is designed to do: create an environment where people have reasons to interact, participate, and enjoy being together.

From Abuja to Port Harcourt, to Ibadan and grand finale in Lagos.

With the first two stops completed, the Palooza journey continues to Ibadan on September 26, before moving to Lagos for a two-day finale on October 3 and 4, coinciding with World Indomie Day.

The experience will continue to change with each city.

Different crowds will bring different energy. Different performances will create different highlights. And consumers will find their own ways to participate. But the central idea remains unchanged. Bring people together, give them something to enjoy, create room for participation, and allow the moments to take care of themselves.

Because while the music may eventually stop and the games may come to an end, the conversations, photographs, and stories that people take away with them are often what make an experience last.

For Indomie Palooza 2026, that is where the real celebration lies.
