The Nigeria Digital PR Summit (NDPRS) has unveiled 22 speakers for its 11th edition, scheduled for October 15 and 16, 2026, at The Zone, Gbagada, Lagos.

Themed “The Rise of Digital Influence: Culture, Creators and the New PR Playbook,” the summit will bring together professionals across government, communications, marketing, entertainment, technology and the creator economy to examine the changing dynamics of digital public relations.

Gboyega Akosile, Special Adviser to the Lagos State Governor on Media and Publicity, will also address delegates, while O’tega Ogra, Senior Special Assistant to the President on Digital Engagement, Strategy and New Media, will lead a masterclass.

Other masterclass facilitators include Celestine Achi, Chief Executive Officer of Cihan Media Group; Tokunboh George-Taylor, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of SKOT Communications; Bolaji Abimbola, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Integrated Indigo Limited; and Odion Aleobua, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Creato Urban.

Two panel sessions will explore the intersection of corporate communications, marketing, entertainment and digital influence.

The first panel will feature Ayodeji Razaq, Group Chief Executive Officer of RED | For Africa; Victoria Uwadoka, Corporate Communications, Public Affairs and Sustainability Lead at Nestlé Nigeria Plc; Henry Bassey, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of DigiBrands; and Sylva Ifedigbo, Director of Corporate Communications at IHS Towers Nigeria. Elizabeth Ogunseye, Co-founder and Chief Marketing Officer of Subify Technologies, will moderate the session.

The second panel will bring together Kenneth Iruonagbe, Head of Digital Communications at TGI Group; Mojisola Oladapo, Chief Marketing Officer of Filmhouse Group; Efe Omorogbe, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Now Muzik and Buckwyld Media Network; and Shalom Akanbi, Communication Strategist at So.Me Solutions. Tobi Rasaq Alaka, Corporate Communications Manager at Zone Payment Network, will moderate the discussion.

Speaking on the speaker line-up, Segun McMedal, Convener of the summit, said the programme reflects the shift in influence from institutions to individuals, traditional newsrooms to digital platforms, and increasingly, algorithms.

“This year’s faculty reflects that reality,” McMedal said. “We have brought together the people who make policy, build brands, shape culture and create content, because the new PR playbook cannot be written by any one of them alone.”

He added that the summit aims to equip practitioners with the skills to earn trust in an environment where attention is increasingly easy to attract.

The Fifth Edition of the Digital PR Digest will be launched during the opening ceremony on Thursday, October 15. The summit will conclude on Friday evening with the Third Nigeria Digital PR Awards Gala, themed “Art of Influence,” where the Digital Communications Ambassadors, Class of 2026, will be unveiled and conferred.

Attendance is free, but registration is mandatory. Registration opens at 8:00 a.m., with sessions scheduled to begin at 9:00 a.m. daily.

Established by Upticomm Marketing Company Limited and endorsed by the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations, the Nigeria Digital PR Summit has held annually in Lagos since 2016. The initiative brings together communications professionals, brands, government institutions, creators and students to advance digital public relations practice.
