Turkish Airlines to hit 300 destinations

Adds Voronezh, Russian as 298th destination

Turkish Airlines has increased its destinations to 298 in 120 countries across the globe, making it inch close to a 300 mark.
The airline, which is the Europe best airline that flies to the more countries and international destinations than any other airline in the world, disclosed this in a statement made available in Lagos.
The airlines, which flies to Nigeria on a daily basis, because of the its status as Africa’s most populous nation, said it has recently added Voronezh in Russian as its 298th destination across the world.
By launching flights to Voronezh, the global carrier reaffirms its ongoing expansion strategy to provide travelers with the greatest number of travel destination options.
“With existing services to Moscow, St.Petersburg, Sochi, Rostov, Kazan, Ekaterinburg, Ufa, and Stavropol, Turkish Airlines has now added Voronezh to its expanding Russian network,” it said in the statement.
The airline said due to its capacity increase strategy on its Russia flights, roundtrip services between Istanbul and Voronezh will be operated as 3 times per week, on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, beginning from Tuesday April 4.
It said introductory round trip fares are available between Istanbul and Voronezh starting at $189 including taxes and fees.
“Additionally, for the first 6 months of operation to the new destinations, there is a special offer for Miles&Smiles members, with a 25 per cent reduction in the miles needed to redeem either award tickets or upgrades,” it added.
Turkish Airlines had, last week, announced it has increased its Moscow-Antalya flights from two to seven frequencies per week, as of 26th March.
The global carrier also offers an early reservation campaign in this regard. Offered round trip fares are available on Moscow-Antalya route starting from 219 Euros, including taxes and fees.
“For passengers interested in this offer, available on flights from Moscow, have to purchase their tickets until 5th April, 2017, to be used until 24th April, 2017.
“Mentioned round-trip fares, available on Turkish Airlines official website, are all-included and subject to conditions and availabilities. Fares may vary at Turkish Airlines sales offices and travel agencies,” it said.
