Information reaching Brand Communicator has it that the former Media Manager of Coca Cola Nigeria, Dozie Okafor is back to his former place of employment, PHD Nigeria, as its Managing Director.
Dozie whose appointment at the helms of the agency takes immediate effect from this week had worked at Coca-Cola Nigeria since May last year. He also had a brief stint at MediaReach OMD Nigeria as a senior executive for planning.
Before he joined Coca Cola, he was the Head of Media Strategy and Planning at Phd where he handled key accounts like Twinings Nigeria, LaCasera Co. Ltd, Nutrifoods, SC Johnson, Bang & Olufsen and Martini Rose, L’Oreal, Ariston Thermo, NCC, Kalbe international, Distell SA, Huawei, Apple, Moet Hennessy and PZ Cussons.
Among other roles, Dozie had been responsible for communication planning, business planning and strategy, knowledge management – recruiting, mentoring and coaching, marketing effectiveness, efficiency measurements and he was lead, client service personnel for all accounts.
His return to the agency as its Managing Director may not be unconnected to his achievements at the agency as its Head of media strategy and planning. Some of those achievements include bagging five new clients for PHD who currently contribute over 60% of agency billings, effectively rolling out PHD global tools and techniques in Nigeria and developing buying.
