O&M Bangkok, Publicis Shanghai, TBWA Bangkok Win Silver In Cannes Lions

Publicis Shanghai, Ogilvy & Mather Bangkok and TBWA Bangkok have each won Silver statues in the Cannes Lions Festival of Creativity Print & Publishing category
 
Publicis Shanghai picked up the Silver Lion for Xiaomo Technology’s campaign, Ogilvy Bangkok for Lego’s “Build the Future” campaign and TBWA\Thailand for McDonalds “Loving the Night” print campaign (which also was awarded a Bronze Lion).
 
Other Bronze statues were awarded to MullenLowe Singapore for Unilevers “Breeze” campaign and Cheil Worldwide Hong Kong for JBL Headphones’ “Block Out” campaign.
From 3275 entries in Print & Publishing, 14 Gold, 31 Silver and 43 Bronze were awarded. Print & Publishing Grand Prix winner: ‘Oregon’, ‘Pensylvannia’, ‘Aviano’, DAVID, Miami, for Burger King, was selected for Burger King’s brave, playful, tongue-in-cheek humour.
 
Jury President, Fran Luckin, Chief Creative Officer, Grey Africa, South Africa, also highlighted a trend towards work that uses details of physical making, from sculpture to drawing, even against the backdrop of our highly digitised world.
