Winston Ailemoh Leaves Pfizer

Wiston Ailemoh, a commercial business leader, a general management marketing and sales expert has left the services of pharmaceutical product giants, Pfizer as its Marketing Director.
Recall, Winston held the position since 2014. In his capacity, he was responsible for developing strategic long, medium and short term plans for the brands under the Pfizer portfolio. These he did by developing strategies for year sales, profit and marketing objectives, championing the planning process, analysing past performance, economic variables etc. He did these and much more in collaboration with the brand team and other key stakeholders at Pfizer.
He was also in charge of directing and co-ordinating the implementation and achievement of agreed plans, developing a loyal consumer franchise for the company’s brands as well as creating positive brand perceptions, associations and usage experiences, through tools such as advertising and promotions management, in order to build strong brands and ensure the long-term profitability.
Prior to joining Pfizer, he was at GlaxoSmithKline, GSK where he was the Head of Innovation in 2010. He rose through the ranks to become Marketing Manager, Oral Health Care & Innovations, before his appointment as Head of Marketing in 2014 in the same company.
Winston has over 17yrs of experience that cuts across sales and marketing functions with very strong strength in people management. Prior to joining Pfizer, he was at GlaxoSmithKline, GSK where he was the Head of Innovation in 2010. He rose through the ranks to become Marketing Manager, Oral Health Care & Innovations, before his appointment as Head of Marketing in 2014 in the same company.
Prior to GSK, Winston was at Unilever Nigeria, where he commenced his career journey. Joining as a Field Sales Manager in 2001, he rose steadily to the position of Brand Manager, Oral Care by 2004. A few years later, he had a brief stint at EXP Momentum before joining Diageo Group (Guinness Nigeria) as an Innovation Manager.
At the time of filing this report, the next professional destination of Winston remains unknown.
He attended the Lagos Business School where he underwent the Senior Management Programme and the University of Ibadan where he obtained a Master’s degree in Managerial Psychology.
